               The Power of “Clean” – Building Your Legacy in the AEC Industry

    • Over time, no one remembers the specific details of individual projects, but they will remember how they felt or were treated. 
    • Presentation will describe “The Power of Clean” and how people can use it to help solidify their individual legacy.
    • Presentation will provide definitions, examples, and techniques to improve day to day.
    • We will explore the challenges of developing and implementing an individual legacy and present examples of its value.
    • Take-aways will include soft skills for individual performers to provide value and allow collaborative teams to feel a true sense of accomplishment.

 

A.J. Speicher, P.E., PMP, WELL AP has extensive experience in commissioning, construction, project management, and facility engineering design.  He is the National Mechanical, Electrical, and Automation Practice Leader for Verdantas, a 1900-member firm providing sustainable solutions for complex environmental, water, and energy transition challenges.  A.J. holds Mechanical Engineering degrees from Penn State (BS) and Villanova (MS).  He is a Certified Commissioning Provider, Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, LEED Green Associate, and WELL Accredited Professional.  He was Past President of both the Anthracite Chapter of ASHRAE and the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the BCA and is currently President-elect for the Penn State University Mechanical Engineering Alumni Society.
